We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our Florida team. The ideal candidate must hold an active Florida 2-20 Insurance License and have hands-on experience working with garage insurance, tow trucks, auto repair, property, general liability, workers’ Comp, and commercial auto insurance. In this role, you will market, quote, and sell insurance policies while providing exceptional service and personalized coverage solutions to small business owners across the state. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell Property & Casualty insurance products, with a focus on tow trucks, auto repair, property, general liability, workers’ Comp, and commercial auto insurance. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business owners, and referral partners. 
  • Identify customer needs through consultative sales methods and present tailored insurance solutions. 
  • Prepare and present accurate quotes while coordinating with underwriting teams for approval. 
  • Generate new business leads through referrals, sales, networking events, and outbound outreach. 
  • Stay compliant with Florida DFS regulations and maintain all required continuing education. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that attract and retain commercial clients. 

Qualifications

  • An active Florida 2-20 Insurance License is required. 
  • Minimum 5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, preferably with garage, towing, or auto repair industry clients. 
  • Strong knowledge of Florida commercial and personal insurance lines. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. 
  • Experience with CRM software and digital lead management tools. 
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to travel for client meetings. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with carriers offering garagekeepers, commercial auto, tow trucks, auto repair, property, general liability, workers’ Comp, and commercial auto insurance coverage. 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
